A Helmet in Time Saves....

A customer from Hawaii visited us earlier this week. She was skiing--and loving it--for the first time in 30 years. She was interested in new goggles to wear over her glasses; she mentioned that she did not wear a helmet. We got her into a UVEX Helmet 300 with integrated visor. It is a great solution for those who ski in prescription glasses (and those who don't).

The next afternoon, our customer called from another resort to thank us. On the first day she ever wore a helmet skiing, she took a fall and went to the ER. Her CAT scan was negative!! She doesn't even remember falling, but awakened with a wobbly brain. Thank goodness she is OK. She credits the helmet. In this case, a helmet in time may have saved a life.
