CARING FOR YOUR LENSES
Wondering how to care for those awesome goggles and lenses you just purchased?
Here are tips (rules, too) from our experience and training:
GOGGLE LENSES
Rule #1: NEVER RUB the inside of your goggles lens when it is wet. The manufacturer has put an anti-fog coating on the inside of the lens, and it is vulnerable when wet. You may absorb the moisture by dabbing it with the goggle bag or a soft cloth; but, do not rub! You may also hold the lens 10-12" under a hand dryer. If you are finished skiing or riding for the day, let the lens air dry, then clean any water marks once the lens is completely dry.
It is OK to rub the outside of the lens with a cloth or goggle bag--wet or dry.
#2: YOU are the only person responsible for preventing scratches on your lenses (sorry,
that's life). We recommend keeping your goggles out of the reach of pets,
small children, and clumsy people, and off of the floor.
Strapping your goggles to your helmet and tossing them in the back of the SUV?
Not so good.
#3: Anti-fog cloths and sprays are for sunglasses, readers, and optical lenses. Never use any kind of a spray or treated cloth on a goggle lens.
#4: Clear smudges and water marks on your lenses using a goggle bag or soft cloth.
Never use a paper product or ski gloves.
#5: Store your goggles in their bag or case, in a dry (as opposed to humid) spot, and
away from extreme cold or heat.

SUNGLASS, READING, AND OPTICAL LENSES
#1: Keep your eyewear in a case or holder when they are not on your noggin.
#2: Microfiber/soft cloth + water/lens cleaner = clean lenses.
(Never use a tissue or paper product to clean lenses).
#3. Just saying: putting your frames on top your head may lead to stretching the frame
and/or having those beauties flung off of their perch and on to an unforgiving surface.
Enjoy that perfect view through well-cared-for lenses!
